Pillars of Creation

$185.00

The Pillars of Creation are among the most recognizable structures in the night sky. Located within the Eagle Nebula, these towering columns of gas and dust became widely known through images captured by the Hubble Space Telescope.

For this piece, the image was processed to give it a more painterly feel, moving beyond a purely photographic presentation. The result places greater emphasis on the form of the pillars and the glowing gas around them, while still showing a region shaped by radiation and ongoing star formation.
